SiNAB to showcase the Phoenix POD at AFAC23

August 22-35, Brisbane, Queensland

The SiNAB team will be at AFAC23 in Brisbane from August 22-25, 2023.

AFAC23 Conference & Exhibition powered by INTERSCHUTZ is Australasia’s largest and most comprehensive emergency management conference and exhibition. Brought to you by AFAC, Deutsche Messe, the Institution of Fire Engineers (Australia) and Women and Firefighting Australasia (WAFA). The 2022 conference and exhibition attracted record attendance of over 3,000 emergency management personnel.

At AFAC23, delegates will be able to inspect and explore the capabilities of the SiNAB Phoenix POD. The Phoenix POD is a fully integrated, self-contained sensor and rapid air-to-ground communication system that attaches to an aircraft to provide intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance capabilities.

This event follows the recent announcement of SiNAB securing a $215,000 grant under The Bushfire Commercialisation Fund (BCF), a NSW Government program aimed at accelerating the development and adoption of cutting-edge bushfire technologies. The grant will support the further testing and commercialisation of the SiNAB Phoenix Pod.

The POD has previously been showcased at major defence and aerospace events around the world, including The Farnborough International Airshow, Eurosatory, INDO PACIFIC International Maritime Exposition, World Defense Show, the Hunter Defence Conference, AVALON 2023 Australian International Airshow and Aerospace & Defence Exposition, and SOF WEEK 2023.

SiNAB will be exhibiting solo at site #362, and in partnership with the Office of Chief Scientist – NSW at site #360.
