SiNAB Showcases the Phoenix Pod, Phoenix Mini and Counter-UAS Capability at the Dubai Airshow 2025

From November 17–21, SiNAB will join Team Defence Australia at the Dubai Airshow, one of the world’s largest aerospace and defence events, bringing together more than 1,500 exhibitors and 148,000 professionals from over 150 countries.

On the Team Defence Australia stand (1460), SiNAB invites visitors to explore its advanced airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) solutions, the Phoenix Pod and Phoenix Mini, representing the next generation of scalable, multi-mission capability.

Further to SiNAB’s recent demonstrations in Prague, SiNAB and its European partners Omnipol and Aero Vodochody will showcase the Phoenix Pod’s Counter-UAS function, integrating real-time detection, tracking and identification of aerial threats. The Omnipol outdoor display will also feature a Phoenix Pod mounted on an L-39 Skyfox, a functional Phoenix Mini, and a Phoenix Mini Electronic Warfare (EW) cutaway model.

The Phoenix Mini, a compact evolution of SiNAB’s proven Phoenix platform, delivers the same modular architecture and communications backbone in a smaller form factor, supporting ISR, EW, and targeting applications for manned and unmanned aircraft. Together, these systems demonstrate the Phoenix range’s growing JTAC integration capability, enabling live ISR and targeting data to be shared seamlessly between airborne assets and ground operators.

To showcase the system’s advanced communications and real-time data capabilities, SiNAB will establish a live video relay between the Omnipol display at Chalet A04 and the TDA pavilion, streaming content directly from the Phoenix Mini to highlight the pod’s integrated networking technology in action.

“Our aim at Dubai is to enlighten the market… to show that the Phoenix system is more than a sensor; it’s a platform that brings ISR, EW, Counter-UAS and communications capability together through advanced integration,” said Tony Landers, CEO of SiNAB.

The Dubai Airshow remains a global platform for aerospace innovation — and for SiNAB, an opportunity to demonstrate Australian ISR technology alongside key international partners, connecting systems, aircraft, and ideas across continents.
