The SiNAB team is heading back to the Tailhook Symposium in Reno, Nevada from 21–23 August 2025, joining our friends at RAVN Aerospace. This year, we’re bringing something new – the Phoenix Mini EW mock-up will be on display for the first time.
The 2025 Tailhook Symposium theme, “Dominate Tomorrow,” focuses on preparing today’s warfighters with the capabilities needed to meet any challenge, anywhere. Attendees can expect world-class panels and briefings on the critical elements of carrier aviation that ensure operational readiness and combat effectiveness.
The Phoenix Mini EW is an early prototype concept, developed in response to demand for a lighter, more compact pod for platforms with space, weight, and power constraints. Built on the proven Phoenix Pod architecture, it is designed to open new options for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (ISR) and electronic warfare missions. While still in R&D, the Mini EW points to the future – enabling advanced communications and modular payloads in a smaller form factor.
Alongside the Phoenix Mini EW, the Phoenix Pod remains a central talking point. This off-the-shelf, fully integrated sensor and communications module requires no aircraft modifications and is already delivering long-range, day-and-night surveillance and realistic JTAC training with Digitally Aided Close Air Support (DACAS), helping operators transition seamlessly to operational systems.
You’ll find the SiNAB with RAVN at Booth #408, where the RAVN Aerospace both teams will be on hand to discuss how these systems are being integrated across diverse aircraft platforms and operational scenarios. And while we can’t say too much just yet, we’re hoping to share some exciting news during the event – so keep an eye on our channels.
