SiNAB and Fering sign collaboration agreement at SOF Week 2026

SiNAB and Fering have signed a collaboration agreement at SOF Week 2026 in Tampa, Florida, bringing together advanced mission systems capability and next-generation mobility platforms to support evolving operational requirements across global defence markets.

Announced during SOF Week, the collaboration reflects growing demand for adaptable, mission-led capability that can be rapidly deployed across distributed and complex operational environments. With increasing focus on Counter-UAS, operational flexibility and multi-domain mission support, the agreement brings together complementary approaches to capability development and deployment.

SiNAB develops the Phoenix Mission System, an adaptable airborne mission capability designed to support applications including Counter-UAS, ISR, targeting and tactical communications. Delivered through Phoenix 10 and Phoenix 5, the system is designed to operate across airborne and ground based platforms already in service without requiring lengthy or expensive platform-specific integration.

Fering develops ultra-lightweight, modular and mission-focused vehicles engineered for extreme endurance across some of the world’s toughest environments. The collaboration creates opportunities to explore how rapidly deployable mission systems and advanced mobility platforms can support emerging operational concepts and evolving mission requirements.

Tony Landers, CEO of SiNAB, said the collaboration reflected a broader shift occurring across the defence sector.

“Operators are increasingly looking for capability that can adapt quickly to changing operational requirements without the constraints of traditional platform programs. Fering, in collaboration with SiNAB, brings an innovative and operationally focused approach to mobility and survivability, and there is strong alignment in how both organisations think about adaptable mission capability and future operational environments.”

Gareth Reece, Chief Commercial Officer of Fering added:

“Fering was established to rethink how capability can be delivered into demanding operational environments. Our collaboration with SiNAB brings together complementary technologies and a shared focus on flexibility, endurance and mission-led innovation.”

SOF Week brings together government, military and industry stakeholders focused on collaboration across commands, agencies, allied nations and industry partners to accelerate capability development and operational readiness.

The collaboration follows a period of expanding international engagement for SiNAB, including new partnerships and growing interest in the Phoenix Mission System across Europe, Asia-Pacific and North American markets.
